Hi, I’m Mercae (pronounced Mer-say), a neurodivergent Seattle mom to one wild, school-aged boy and a portrait photographer. As a mother and Jane Austen’s #1 fan, I’m deeply passionate about creating tangible artwork that feels rooted in your story, inspired by the elegant, vintage aesthetic and historical architecture.
Filling your home with framed photographs and heirloom albums does something lasting. It shows your children, over and over again, that they belong here, that they are loved. On the hard days, when everything feels a little frayed, even a quiet glance at a portrait can steady them, bringing them back to that feeling of being held, known, and cherished.
Mercae did such a wonderful job helping our little out of her shell to get some wonderful memories in photos.
Serving clients in the greater seattle area
I offer a thoughtful experience that begins with wardrobe guidance and location planning, and ends with high-end, tangible artwork, like framed prints, heirloom albums, and canvas wall art.
My work is rooted in connection, storytelling, and slowing down to savor the season a family is in. By focusing on emotional authenticity and timeless aesthetics, I help mothers feel confident, beautiful, and deeply seen in the images that will one day become their family's most treasured keepsakes.
Authenticity is more meaningful than flawlessness.
I'm an adventurous spirit, whether it's close to home or a million miles away.
Mornings are the best part of the day - my son is in a good mood and anything could happen!
Time with those we love should always be the priority. Holidays together are sacred!
Moms deserve to feel beautiful in front of the camera surrounded by their families.
