At my grandmother's house, three generations of heirloom portraits lined the walls, each child in the same vintage christening gown, and in my mother's home, our family photos still hang above the mantle. Those images were a daily reminder of love, belonging, and connection. Today, I help the mothers I serve create that same feeling, filling their homes with artwork that celebrates the family they've built and the moments they never want to forget.
With that in mind, I knew that if I didn't build my process around prints, busy modern families would never move their photographs beyond a screen. So I thoughtfully crafted an experience that makes bringing your images into your home feel effortless, guiding you from portrait session to beautifully framed artwork and heirloom albums that become part of your family's everyday life.

After seeing your photos, you'll be able to shop a la carte directly from your gallery for beautiful custom artwork that fits your home and life. Prices average around $1,200 but vary widely based on product type. Whether you choose an heirloom album, custom frames, or loose fine art prints to fill your existing frames, you'll be thrilled with the quality and the memories you'll preserve.

I’ll guide you with styling and playful prompts so your session feels more like family time than posing. These lighthearted moments are often the ones parents treasure most.
2. your photoshoot happens
After you inquire, you'll get a scheduling link for a 15-minute chat with me. Share your vision and ask your questions, and I’ll guide you through locations, styling, availability, and investment so you feel completely confident. At the end, you’ll secure your date with a signed contract and a $325 sitting fee plus tax, and your session will be officially on the calendar.

Your sitting fee of $325 plus tax includes a relaxed, approximately one-hour photoshoot experience for a studio maternity or in-home newborn photoshoot. You'll love the professional makeup artist who comes to your home. You’ll also enjoy access to my curated client closet, making it easy to look and feel your best without the stress of outfit planning. Artwork is purchased separately.

My photoshoot with Lilac and Ivy Photography was the best experience I have had with a professional photographer to date. I had requested before hand that she not include my sons face in any published work which she agreed to with no questions.
Not only is Mercae an incredibly talented photographer but she is also so creative, professional and passionate about what she does. My experience with her was 10/10! I would highly recommend Mercae for all of you photography needs.

We have a very particular toddler who shies away from new faces so we were worried what kind of photos we would get but omg they came out stunning! Mercae did such a wonderful job staying calm and helping our little out of her shell to get some wonderful memories in photos.
