A June maternity session at JB Family Growers feels like stepping into a storybook. Surrounded by blooming lavender and golden evening light, you’ll slow down and savor the final weeks before your family changes forever. The rolling fields, delicate purple blossoms, and peaceful countryside setting create an effortlessly beautiful backdrop for portraits that feel both refined and deeply heartfelt. These are images filled with softness, anticipation, and the quiet joy of waiting for the baby you’ve already begun to love so deeply.
A Phone Call Starts It Off
Begin by scheduling a 15 minute chat with me. Share your vision and ask your questions, and I’ll guide you through locations, styling, my client closet, availability, and investment so you feel completely confident. At the end, you’ll secure your date with a signed contract and a $325 sitting fee plus tax, and your session will be officially on the calendar.
Your Photoshoot Happens
I’ll guide you with styling and playful posing so your session feels joyful while balancing elegance and refinement. These lighthearted moments are often the ones parents treasure most.
You Choose Your Photos
After seeing your photos, you’ll be able to shop a la carte directly from your gallery for beautiful custom artwork that fits your home and life. Prices average around $1,200 but vary widely based on product type. Whether you choose an heirloom album, custom frames, or loose fine art prints to fill your existing frames, you’ll be thrilled with the quality and the memories you’ll preserve.

Hi, I’m Mercae, the Seattle-based photographer behind Lilac & Ivy Photography. To know I seek inspiration between the pages of Pride and Prejudice while blaring Tchaikovsky is to know me. I create refined maternity and newborn portraits for nostalgic Seattle mothers who love the beautiful historic architecture of Seattle and vintage-inspired styling as much as I do.
I specialize in studio maternity and in home newborn sessions because you shouldn’t have to make the Herculean effort to drive for hours, pray for sunshine, hike into the mountains, or be forced to cancel for rain. Once you inquire, I’ll send you over a welcome guide and a link to schedule a phone call to plan our session and answer any lingering questions!

If this feels like the kind of experience you have been craving, I’d love to hear from you. Reach out to begin a session where we crank Swan Lake all the way up and create artwork focused on connection and intentionality. I’ll be your guide so you can simply show up and be present. When you’re ready, submit an inquiry to start the process, and let’s start creating something meaningful together.
