Pregnancy is pure magic, and it's a fleeting time when you’re growing a life, dreaming of the future, and radiating a beauty that deserves to be celebrated. Maternity sessions are about more than just pictures; they’re about capturing the love, strength, and wonder of the first chapter of motherhood, giving you a way to treasure this moment forever.
I encourage Seattle parents to get maternity portraits taken most of all because they're the photos I wish most of all that I had. I flip through my son's baby books, and my heart just hurts missing those precious moments - wishing I had beautiful portraits of a time I felt so connected to my baby boy and to the world at large in such a special unique way.

Mercae did such a wonderful job helping our little out of her shell to get some wonderful memories in photos.

Printed artwork is the finished product.
Time moves faster than we expect, and I know this not only as a Seattle maternity photographer but as a mother. I told myself I would document my pregnancy when life felt calmer, and then suddenly I was too big and uncomfortable, the nursery was finished, and then my baby was in my arms. There was no clear sign that now was the time to document that sacred season; it simply flew by. Motherhood has taught me that pregnancy does not wait, which is why now matters, and why turning this chapter into printed artwork is essential so this fleeting season is not just remembered, but honored and preserved in your home for years to come.
After seeing your photos, you'll choose one of three collections ranging from $475-800. Each collection includes digital files, some include a credit toward prints and products, ensuring you end up a set of images you truly love and an easy way to make them tangible parts of your life.
I’ll guide you with styling and playful prompts so your session feels more like family time than posing. These lighthearted moments are often the ones parents treasure most.
Begin by scheduling a 15 minute chat with me. Share your vision and ask your questions, and I’ll guide you through locations, styling, my client closet, availability, and investment so you feel completely confident. At the end you’ll secure your date with a signed contract and a $325 sitting fee plus tax, and your session will be officially on the calendar.
I love family maternity sessions. It's all about the connection. Whether it’s just you, your partner, and the baby belly, or you’re welcoming your third kiddo, it’s important that everyone is included.
However, if you prefer we can make this moment all for you. Let's put on your favorite music, wear a pretty dress, and find just the right lighting all for you mama.
I typically photograph Seattle maternity portrait sessions between when you're in your late 2nd early 3rd trimester. The aim is to capture your gorgeous round belly before you reach the uncomfortable stage of pregnancy. This timeframe usually achieves that, though there are always exceptions, such as when you're expecting twins.
I'm so glad you asked! I offer a growing client closet that accommodates the bump, plus a few options for small siblings. Normally, these dresses by brands like Nothing Fits But, Doen, and Worth Collective cost hundreds of dollars - but you can wear these for your session at no extra cost.
I always recommend doing this early in your second trimester, to ensure that we have availability on our calendar. Most families also reserve their Seattle newborn photography session at the same time, too!
For every session I hold, I send an email with a list of amazing makeup artist professionals who can create natural and neutral looks that won't overpower your gorgeous face. I highly recommend hiring a makeup artist, but if that's not your preference, I've also included DIY tips to make your portraits shine.
I photograph outdoors from March to October, during which I highly recommend Volunteer Park, Washington Park Arboretum, the UW Campus for Cherry Blossoms and am happy to travel to your favorite location or even your home! I recommend booking in the morning or in the late afternoon for most of my locations.
