I understand how important it is to preserve these memories because I didn’t get maternity photos during my own pregnancy. Having been pregnant during the pandemic, I now feel the ache of that decision. I have no portraits to remind me of the joy and anticipation I felt while carrying my son—no artwork to hang on my walls or cherish in an album. It’s a regret I don’t want any other mother to experience.

Is family included in our Seattle maternity photography session?
When do I get my maternity session done?
I'm ready to book, how do I do that?
I love family maternity sessions. Whether it’s just you, your partner, and the baby belly, or you’re welcoming your third kiddo, it’s important that everyone is included. But, do you want to make this session all about you? Perfect, we can choose beautiful dresses and spend time blasting music that empowers you and create pictures to help you remember this time and the body that helped you create life. Basically, it’s all about you!
We typically photograph Seattle maternity portrait sessions between 28-32 weeks gestation. The aim is to capture your beautiful round belly before you reach the uncomfortable stage of pregnancy. This timeframe usually achieves that, though there are always exceptions, such as when you're expecting twins.

When should I reserve my maternity session?
Do you cover hair and makeup?
what locations do you photograph?
I always recommend doing this early in your second trimester, to ensure that we have availability on our calendar. Most families also reserve their Seattle newborn photography session at the same time, too!
I connect you with our preferred stylist and she ensures that all of the details for your hair and makeup are taken care of. You'll pay her directly, however you are more than welcome to get ready at their studio or your home; whichever is easiest for you.
I shoot outdoors at specific locations seasonally. I limit outdoor sessions to March - October, during the winter months sessions move to the studio I use in the U District.
