Open daily, May 24 to September 1, 2025
A number of Seattle parks have water spray features where you and the kiddos can cool off. The Seattle City Parks Department will operate 11 sprayparks this summer, beginning Saturday, May 25 until Labor Day.
Sprayparks are self-operating, with most on a timer. They are occasionally “quiet” for a few minutes to re-set themselves. Their operation is subject to change (due to weather or damage to the facilities). Follow the SPR Wading Pool Facebook page for daily updates.
These sprayparks will be open from 11 am to 8 pm each day of the week, unless thunder or lightning are present:
*Spraypark and wading pool schedules are subject to change (due to weather or damage to the facilities).

Beach Water Quality & Closures Swimming in natural bodies of water carries a risk of bacterial infection. The Seattle City Parks Department strongly advises showering before and after swimming, as well as not drinking lake water.
The Seattle City Parks Department’s partner, King County Public Health, reports swim beach water quality weekly from May to September.
When bacteria counts are too high, the Seattle City Parks Department follows KCPH’s orders to close beaches. You will hear about this several ways:
- Notification Banners placed on each park page,
- Signs placed at the swim beaches,
- You can also sign up for weekly alerts on KCPH Swim Beach Water Quality.
